The beautiful red-head was indeed a princess, who took pride in her exquisite head of long, thick hair. However, the color was so unique, copperish- reddish-brown, that everyone stopped to remark on how stunning it was. And her long, luscious eyelashes made her a truly living doll. And every princess has a heart of gold. Loving, sweet, and compassionate, she was thinking of others until the end. Leia loved everything pretty and pink, in fact most of her wardrobe was pink. Leia's laughter was contagious as she loved to tell jokes and spark enthusiasm. She loved conversation and kept everyone informed of her day at school. Listening and telling stories was a favorite past time, especially of enchanted places and fairy princesses. She spent lots of times drawing, painting. and writing. alwavs including a heart or "love" in her creations. Leia loved music, any music she could wiggle to, but especially Britney Spears. Her favorite movie was Wizard of Oz and she identified with Dorothy, dreaming of a magical world "somewhere over the rainbow." ...

San Francisco, passed away on June 26th, at the age of 85 while recovering from a fall that resulted in a hip fracture. Toni was born on the 11th of Nov., 1926, in Detroit, Michigan to Concetta and Michael Sammut. She moved to San Francisco with her family in 1955 and worked for many years in the bookbinding industry where she made many lasting friends, before retiring in 1992. In addition to spending time with her family, Toni enjoyed Dancing with the Stars, American Idol and the occasional casino visit! Toni is survived by her children, John, Gloria and Theresa; her grandchildren Bob, Danielle, Matthew, Adam and Austin; and great-grandchildren Ava and Alex. She was pre-deceased by her loving canine companion, Bailey, to whom she was devoted. No service is planned, but in her memory, please commit an act of kindness or generosity to someone in need.
